Neuro symbolic architectures represent a paradigm shift in artificial intelligence, combining the pattern recognition capabilities of neural networks with the logical reasoning power of symbolic systems. This review examines the current state of neuro symbolic AI in collaborative control systems and intention prediction applications. We explore foundational concepts, architectural designs, and implementation strategies while analyzing challenges in integration, scalability, and real-world deployment. The study highlights emerging applications in human-robot collaboration, autonomous systems, and multi-agent coordination. Key findings reveal that while neuro symbolic approaches offer enhanced interpretability and reasoning capabilities, significant challenges remain in seamless integration and computational efficiency. Methods include a comprehensive literature review of peer-reviewed articles, technical standards, and industry implementations published between 2018 and 2024. The review concludes that successful deployment of neuro symbolic architectures requires addressing computational complexity, developing standardized integration frameworks, and advancing hybrid learning algorithms. Recommendations emphasize the importance of domain-specific adaptations and collaborative development between neural and symbolic AI communities. This review provides valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers navigating the evolving landscape of neuro symbolic AI applications.
