Giftedness is a condition characterised by a high degree of innate talent, ability, or intelligence. Gifted individuals are distinguished by their perceptiveness, creative imagination, empathy, perfectionism, and strong self-confidence. Mindfulness refers to a state of focused attention on the present moment and is associated with reduced stress, enhanced self-regulation, and improvements in both mental health and overall quality of life. Mindfulness interventions can be beneficial for gifted students, as they contribute to better attention control, strengthened social skills, and improved academic performance. Since gifted students possess creativity and exceptional memory abilities, they require learning environments that provide stimulation and motivation, such as those supported by new technologies. This article, through a literature review, seeks to explore the role of mindfulness in relation to giftedness. It also examines the importance of utilising ICT—such as Robotics and Artificial Intelligence—in the education of gifted students.
