The biophysical and socio-economic potential of Murano Village and its agroforestry institutions has not been thoroughly studied, and local wisdom guides the expansion of agroforestry. This hybrid study included quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The structure and content of nutmeg (Myristica argentea) produced the highest IVI value, around 200. MPTS fruits, lawang wood, and masohi also contained IVI. The Shannon-Wiener diversity value (H') of 1.33 is moderate (1 < H’ < 3). The mild category featured 16 species. Agroforestry samples have a medium aggregate evenness of species (E) of 0.48. Murano Village uses lineages and keret for social agroforestry. A more diverse nutmeg and fruit system earned US$ 5,529.41/ha/year. Cleaning supplies and fertilisers cost the community up to US$ 88,24. Nutmeg-based agroforestry is achievable because the B/C Ratio > 1. IFAS and EFAS scores were 2.74 and 2.92 after SWOT analysis. Combining 8 strengths and 8 opportunities in the SO quadrant takes 64 combinations. The government needs to develop priority plans and policies to enhance the agroforestry system in Murano Village, Kaimana Regency. Farmers receive financing from the Kaimana Regency Government to foster the development of agroforestry, diversify nutmeg-based agroforestry types, develop downstream products, educate farmers, and collaborate with local universities to maintain high-quality harvests. Legality, farmer institutions, funding, marketing, and extension are government services.
